Risk and the Art of Negotiating
Speaking Events with Buck and Diana Wilde, Ph.D.

Emotional intelligence plays a role in direct confrontations
where nonverbal communications speak louder than words!

"Most people avoid risking a grizzly encounter. Not Buck Wilde.
We've come here to Alaska to meet this man, The Bear Whisperer."
- David Attenborough, BBC

Join Diana and Buck in an Alaska wilderness known as 'the
last best place for bears' where they study/photograph grizzly behavior. By communicating with the bears in a 'humanimal' language of expressions and postures, they negotiate with 'instincts designed for risk'. On rare occasions a grizzly bear's temper will flare. But with respect and restraint, potential adversaries can come to terms in the bush and the world at large.

Presentations resonate with corporate, university and college-bound audiences. Art exhibits can also be scheduled.

"Walking on grizzly ground with Buck and Diana is mind-bending entertainment. Masterful storytelling and amazing images had the Next Stage theatre overflowing and on the edge of magic."
- Dr. Buck Drew, Sun Valley Activist

"I'm fortunate to know some of the most prominent bear experts in the world. Buck stands out with experiential insights allowing him to 'cross over into the animal kingdom' with an ease lacking in most."
- John Rogers, Alaska Outfitter

Diana Wilde Diana developed the ability to 'read a face' as a behavior specialist interpreting the unspoken 'language of emotions'. When confronted by the approach of a grizzly, she relies on similar sensitivities to read postures and movements. Her experiences in these two realms illuminate common ground between wild and human psyches.

Contact Buck and Diana

Buck Wilde Buck learned to 'gauge an entrance' and 'scope a room' in business negotiations before parlaying his way into an other world of wildlife behavior. He is the 'Bear Whisperer' in a BBC feature about the risks of filming face-to-face encounters and is credited in ten other nature documentary programs. His years of 'living with grizzlies' exemplify man's capacity to coexist through the art of negotiating.
