Camerman Diana Wilde As a behavior specialist with troubled youth, Diana developed a sensitivity for interpreting facial expressions and postures conveyed in silent conversations. After earning a Ph.D., she turned her lens to the animal kingdom where the nuances of body language remain a subject of interest in her art and storytelling.

Camerman Diana Wilde Buck grew up playing with frogs and turtles, talking to wild turkeys and walking through the forests with deer. A career in intelligence gathering further honed skills to observe critical details in behavior and anticipate his subject's next move. Today, he is recognized for the uncommon ability to "read wild minds".

The couple "lives with grizzlies" on the Alaska Peninsula, in a wilderness they call "the last best place for bears". There, Diana focuses on "grizzly dialogs" and Buck documents seldom-seen grizzly behaviors suggesting a primal bond with humans, or "the bear inside". With intimate imagery and the ancient art of storytelling, they take audiences into the bear's world with a glimpse into "the grizzly psyche". Thousands of Wilde Images have been published in over 30 countries, and their popular fine art collections speak to the wilde spirit that cries out from within us all.

"If you talk to the animals, they will talk with you
and you will know each other.
If you do not talk to them, you will not know them
and what you do not know, you will fear.

What one fears, one destroys."
-Chief Dan George Totem detail

"We invite you to experience the magic in what we call ...'wilde'.

It lives in the morning dew
and in all creatures, great and small.

Dragonfly And it talks to us ...
if only we pause to listen." Buck and Diana Wilde
